About Margaret
Margaret is the owner and head trainer at K9 Summit Academy. She grew up an animal lover and an avid horse rider. After college she found herself in New York City where she got a job as a dog walker while looking for a “real job.” It didn’t take long for her to realize that working with dogs was her true calling. Margaret went on to learn from and work under some of the best dog trainers in New York City. She volunteered for a dog rescue in Brooklyn and fostered over 50 dogs, training difficult dogs to succeed in their forever homes. Margaret moved to Colorado in 2018 and continues to have a passion for helping dogs and their owners. Whether you want to get your puppy or new rescue dog off to the right start or you have a dog with unwanted behaviors, Margaret can help.
